Postor Nababi Alur Dum(Nawabi Dum of Potato with Poppy Seed)
This is a Bengai dish. It can
be served with hot rice or parathas.
Ingredients:-
1.Small potatoes - 500gm
2. Pasted poppy seed - 50gm
3. Pasted cumin seed - 1 spoon
4. Pasted ginger - 1 spoon
5. Pasted onion - 2
6. Gerlic - 2 piece
7. Cassia leafs(tejpata) - 2
8. Sattu - 2 spoon
9. Sugar - 2 spoon
10. Chilli powder - according to choice
11. Haldi powder - 1 spoon
12. Refined oil and salt - according to taste
Process:-
1. Boil the potatoes.
2. Pour oil into pan and heat it.
3. Add the boiled potatoes.
4. Add the spices and pastes except the Sattu and poppy seed paste. Cook it for five minutes.
5. Add the Sattu and one and half cup water.
6. When the curry becomes thicker, add the paste of poppy seed.
7. Cook for a few minutes.
8. Serve hot.
