Kashmiri Chicken
Kashmiri Chicken is a very
delicious chicken recipe.

The ingredients for the recipe
is
Dressed chicken 1/2
kg
Kashmiri chillies 12
Mustard 1 teaspoon
Whole black pepper 1/2
teaspoon
Cinnamon 2-inch
piece
Clove 10
Ginger 1-inch
piece
Garlic 1 pod
Onions 2 large
Cashewnuts 10
Ripe tomato 1
Oil 3/4 cup
Cumin seeds 1/4
teaspoon
Salt According to
taste
Grind
chillies, mustard, cumin seeds, pepper, cinnamon, and clove
together. Keep it aside. Grind ginger and garlic separately.
Cut tomatoes into small pieces. Smear turmeric and salt on the
chicken pieces. Keep the chicken slices aside for an hour to
marinate. Fry chicken in oil. Fry onions in the same oil. When
the onions are brown, put garlic, ginger, and ground masala into
the oil and fry well. Add sliced tomatoes and ground cashewnuts
and fry till the tomatoes are thoroughly cooked. Add fried chicken
slices and a cup of water and cook on a slow fire till the chicken
is tender. Serve hot.

Kashmiri chilli powder is deep red in colour and it is a little milder than the usual chilli
